WINC – Society is newly founded non-profit, community based organization authorized for wildlife and nature conservation. This is a two-phased project, with the first phase planned for five years.

In a recent email to Rhishja (founder of savingrhinos.org), Shankar Chaudhary, Senior Ranger, Biodiversity Conservation Center, Chitwan National Park: "We always involve the community from the project planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluation as we work in the Integrated Conservation and Development Project (ICDP) Model."

Mr. Chaudhary further explained: "In this regard, the local people will be involved in the whole round of the project cycle level. Local Working Committee will be formed for implementing the project and as per needed; different level of committees will be also formed. What is conservation, if not for people? In this regard, we always put our efforts of conservation with human face."
